How do i get a free SILVER membership ?
For any active participation within this community you get free full access ! e.g.:
- you are an autor and uploaded valuable article(s).
- you wrote valuable comments to articles.
- you notified us about double posts(topics/articles that are already covered my the d3k database.
- you placed a link to delphi3000 on your website.
- you sended us valuable news from the delphi-field for our newsletter.
- you informed a component vendor about our great advertising options (and created a business contact).
For any active participation within the Delphi community you get free full access ! e.g.:
- you are a member of a Delphi User Group.
- you are an author and write for magazines about Delphi.
- you are a consulter, teacher in the Delphi field.
Why do i have to pay here for content ?
Memberships are free now
We had to introduce a membership-system with a small subscription fee to reduce the web-server traffic (in the first place; our hoster charged us too much money) and to create a second income (beside advertising).
What is the unique selling point of this portal ?
Its a community portal where the content comes from the community for the community ... not just code-snippets or
newsgroup-postings but real articles - all controlled by hand in order to keep a high quality.
How do i get started here ?
First sign up as a FREE BRONZE member and test the portal. If you like it you can than upgrade to SILVER at My Home in the members area.

What rules do i have to follow here ?
We are very happy that the D3K community is very alive and works well... please do the following in order to support this process:
- enter your full name when sign up.
- if possible enter some information about yourself and upload a picture.
- enter comments to articles whenevery you feel to.
- read the posting-guidelines BEFORE uploading articles
- check the D3K database BEFORE uploading articles (if the topic is already covered)
- sign up to the newsletter and read the article requests that are posted there.
- do not use download tools like Teleporter to download the whole site... don't worry: D3K won't disappear.
